NCTU	Chalmers

Organization and Function

Head—manages the office, makes the office run smoothly, trains the new office members, and serves as the contact window for NCTU.

Deputy head—assists the Head to accomplish the mission. Servers as the treasurer.

Website Management group—2 students, setups and maintains the web page “NCTU Europe” at Chalmers, and manage the data base of “NCTU Europe”.

Exchange supporting group—2 to 3 students, support incoming NCTU students and staffs to Chalmers.

Public relationship group—2 to 3 students, publicize NCTU in Chalmers, Sweden and Europe.

Publication group—2 students, publish newsletter quarterly.

Activities:

(1) To support exchanges of students and staffs between NCTU and Chalmers

(2) To report to NCTU about the recent development in Chalmers, Sweden and Europe

(3) To contact with different academic institutions and industries

(4) To identify opportunities in both ways between NCTU and Chalmers

(5) To join the regular meeting of the NCTU/Chalmers joint steering group

(6) To support NCTU/Chalmers video conference and joint workshop

(7) To publish newsletter

Mission

(1) To be the contact window of NCTU in Chalmers, Sweden and Western Europe

(2) To promote and support the exchanges of staff and students between Chalmers and NCTU

(3)To enhance NCTU visibility in Sweden and herneighborhood
(4) To report the progress in Swedish companies and universities, and Taiwan companies in Sweden and Europe.
